Loretta/Turnbow/LaRoche (Adam)

I read a bunch of places that the Pirates are interested in Mark Loretta. I'd be happy if this was for utility and to backfill if LaRoche sucks again at 3rd, Wilson and/or Freddy gets hurt!! But if we're looking to sign to to play SS every day and trade Wilson - I"m not so happy...

Jake mentioned that we're also looking at Derrick Turnbow. He had a few good seasons - but Jake is saying he has a partially torn rotator cuff...YIKES...stay away!!!

Also I've read that the Angles maybe interested in LaRoche if Texieria doesn't sign with them.

Post Gazette is reporting that we are one of the three finalists to land Turnbow. Can you imagine a bullpen battle consisting of: Turnbow, Veal, Meek, Hansen, Beam, Burnett and Bootcheck? Matt Capps will never see a lead in the 9th. Grabow and Yates might as well never warm up for the 8th. Are we hoping our starters go a mininum of 7 innings every start?
